ORGANIZATIONAL CONSULTING

Our dedicated Risk Management Analysts work closely with Members on the integration of tools and resources, to build effectively safety and risk management systems. STAFF TRAINING & CONFERENCES

Members are invited to participate in on-site and web-based training and events throughout the year, many of which provide CEs for registered nurses and nursing home administrators.

The National Aging Services Risk Management (NASRM) Conference is an annual conference held in the Fall. Nationally recognized speakers relay up-to-date information and answer questions on timely topics and best practices in the field of risk management.

The Spring Education Risk Mangement Conference is a two-day regional conference providing members small group training. This workshop-style conference provides an opportunity to network, exchange best practices, and bring valuable knowledge back to your organization. 

WEBINARS

Guest speakers and risk experts present on subjects applicable aging services. Members are encouraged to send as many team members as possible. Webinar recordings can be found here.

BEST PRACTICES

Due to our Member collaborations, we are able to identify trends and emerging risks, and with that information we can advise on best practices that will improve safety. As a non-punitive culture we encourage the sharing of errors and lessons learned in order to openly discuss suggestions for system improvements.

RISK PORTAL

Risk Managers can track their organizational risk and Prescriptives Platform progress in real time with custom reporting on our separate risk portal. You can also view and register for upcoming Caring Communities Risk Management events.

CERTIFICATION

The Certified Professional Aging Services Risk Management (CPASRM) is a multi-course certification program providing an in-depth exploration of managing risk within the aging services environment.

Students who complete the program and pass the exam will be awarded the designation of CPASRM, which confirms proficiency in the field of Aging Services Risk Management.

Our newsletter and articles provide risk management consideration, strategies, and operational guidance regarding issues facing the Membership.
